The finished result

A large security upgrade that stayed visually quiet

Security film is supposed to add capability without making a school feel closed in. The completed openings remained clear, bright, and usable while the filmed glass and frame-edge attachment were addressed as one assembly.

The work was not one generic window count. Sea Cool measured different opening groups, coordinated multiple buildings, removed existing film where required, and sequenced the installation in phases.

The challenge was coordinating a campus glazing system, not simply applying film

Each phase had its own openings, frame conditions, access needs, and preparation work. Sea Cool had to connect those field details to one documented installation plan.

The completed work covered the main and gym perimeter, the high-school building, and Buildings 1 and 2 as separate measured scopes.

One high-school phase required removal and surface preparation on 110 panes before the new system could be installed.

Opening size, frame condition, edge access, bead geometry, adhesion, and attachment details had to be considered together.

Clear 3M security film, perimeter attachment, and controlled phasing

The project used 3M Ultra S800 and a frame-edge attachment path where specified. Sea Cool treated each phase as measured institutional glazing work, not a one-size-fits-all film package.

3M Impact Protection Attachment (IPA) Sealant is the attachment portion of the security-film system. It overlaps the filmed glass and a compatible prepared frame so the broken filmed sheet has an additional edge-retention path after impact.
