The Challenge
Extreme Heat on Floor-to-Ceiling Glass
2 MiamiCentral is part of the Miami Central mixed-use development spanning six city blocks in downtown Miami. As one of two new Class AA office towers, its expansive glass facades were exposing tenants to intense solar heat gain, glare, and UV damage, driving up energy costs and reducing occupant comfort across every floor.
The Solution
3M Prestige 40 on Every Floor
After two years of planning with the building’s architects and Stiles Property Management, Sea Cool installed 3M Sun Control Window Film, Prestige 40 across all 10 floors. This nano-ceramic film delivers 97% infrared heat rejection and 99.9% UV protection while maintaining high visible light transmission, keeping the building bright and views crystal clear.
