StruXure designs and manufactures the Cabana X at their Birmingham, Alabama facility. Every unit is precision-cut, powder-coated, and quality-tested before shipping. The result is a structure that arrives ready for installation with tolerances measured in millimeters.
How does the Cabana X handle heavy rain?
When the louvers are closed, the interlocking design creates a completely watertight seal. Rainwater flows into an integrated gutter system hidden inside the structural beams and drains through the posts, no visible gutters, no dripping edges. You can use your outdoor space during a downpour.
Does a Cabana X require a building permit?
Yes, the Cabana X is a permanent freestanding structure and requires a building permit in most jurisdictions. StruXure provides engineered drawings stamped by a licensed PE for your specific unit and site. Sea Cool manages the entire permitting process as part of our turnkey installation service.
What sizes are available?
The Cabana X is available in standard modules and can be configured in virtually any rectangular footprint. Single units typically range from 10’x10′ to 20’x20′.
